First lesson to learn from 'Shakti'

Big names of Junior NTR, Ileana and Aswini Dutt are unable to save the day for ‘Shakti’ which garnered huge negative talk on the very first day. However it is heard in film circles that ‘Shakti’ made producers and directors to learn a good first lesson on controlling the budget and number of working days. Without a strong script and story line, audience do not mind sending back the prints without mercy even though producer and director worked hard on lengthy schedules roaming all around the world trying to offer patrons a different feel by frequently changing the scene locations.

To be specific, numerous shooting locales of ‘Shakti’ have become a big disadvantage for the film. Neither people where able to connect to the story not to the characters. Every frame looked fresh but not up to the demand of situation. Better producers try to learn these basics from ‘Shakti’ and help control the budget. Need of the hour for audience is not your grandeur or lavish budgets, it is a matter of convincing plot and entertaining narration. Star Power, budgets will then become added attractions but they can never be the main attractions.
