C Kalyan elected VP of FFI

Tollywood producer C. Kalyan has been elected Vice President of the Film Federation of India (FFI).

C Kalyan, who was actively involved in the recent crisis in the industry arising out of dubbing films cutting into straight film revenue, was elected as one of the eight Vice Presidents of the national body  at an Executive Committee Meeting held in Mumbai recently.

Delhi-based Vinod K. Lamba has been elected president while Supran Sen will be the Secretary General of the Federation. Hirachand Dand (Maharashtra) and Rajendar Singh (Delhi) are the new general secretaries and Sangram Shirke (Maharashtra) is the treasurer.

Mr Aggarwal (Maharashtra), L. Suresh (Tamil Nadu); Ram Vidhani (Maharashtra), Sunil Kumar (Bihar), Jitendra Jain (Madhya Pradesh), Ravi Kottarakara (Kerala) and A.R. Raju (Karnataka) are the remaining seven Vice Presidents.
