A press note issued by producers of ‘Rebel’ on budget of their project reaching nearly Rs.40 Crores made many industry folks give a tongue in cheek expression. Well, not to doubt on the BO caliber of Prabhas but why is it that makers are risking with such high production on Lawrence, is the question storming in many minds. One of a senior industry analyst anticipated this in two ways.

First is, producers should have built solid confidence on commercial stamina of Prabhas which made them get ready for this safe investment. Then credit should go obviously into Prabhas account. Second is, the continuous postponement of shooting schedules or replacing of heroine from Anushka with Tamanna in mid way or changing of other technical crew could have possibly lifted the budget from something like estimated Rs.25 to current Rs.40 Crores.
