Manchu Lakshmi Reminds our Savitri

Did you remember 'Mahanati' Savitri's performance in all time greatest movie of tollywood 'Mayabazar'? As per the story, Ghatotkhacha( S.V.Rangarao) decides to teach a lesson to Kauravas in the disguise of 'Maayaa Shashirekha( Savitri). Although his get up is changed as Shashirekha, his body language remains to be Ghatotkhacha at times. Meanwhile, Savitri has to perform all the expressions of Ghatotkhacha as well as real Shashirekha. Savitri did an excellent job in performing the variations in her character. One cannot forget her role in the movie forever. 

The much hyped movie 'Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara' was released on 27th July. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, who played an interesting role in this movie, reminded us Mahanati Savitri's role of Mayabazar in the climax of UKUP. When the soul of Sonu Sood enters in the body of Lakshmi, her expressions suddenly change like Sonu Sood's. Her performance was stunning in those scenes. Though she can't be compared to Savitri anyways, she is certainly said to have reminded Savitri in that scene.
