Puri Copying 'Chandamama' Stories?

'Chandamama', a children magazine was first published in the year, 1947. Nagireddy and Chakrapani were the founders of the book. Based on the stories of Chandamama, several movies have been made in tollywood. It seems Director Puri Jagannadh has been inspired with some of the stories of 'Chandamama'. In his latest offering 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu', Ali and Lakshmi Devi episode has been inspired by one of the stories from 'Chandamama' magazine. In one of the scenes, Lakshmi Devi drops jewelry sack before Ali. However, Ali could not recognize it as he acts like a blind man in that scene. This scene has been an inspiration from one of  the 'Chandamama' stories. 

Mass Maharaj and Ileana did the hero and the heroine of this comedy entertainer. Prakash Raj played a comic villain role. Raghu Kunche provided the music of the film. B.V.S.N.Prasad produced this movie under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.
