Prabhas's 'Bhaktha Kannappa' A Safe Bet

Veteran Star hero Rebel Star Krishnamraju announced that he would produce the remake of his super hit film 'Bhaktha Kannappa' with Prabhas as the hero. Having heard this statement from his critics expressed their doubts if the project works out well at the box office. Many analysts are saying that the project will definitely do well at the box office and their reasons are as follows.

* Nowadays, chances are less to score hits with mythological movies as some of the movies such as 'Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam', 'Sriramarajyam' etc. could not go well at the box office. 

* Pure devotional movies may not get successful result as they lack romance in the movies. That's why Nagarjuna's 'Shirdi Sai' could not live up to the expectations. 

* A devotional movie that has romance and duets  besides devotion, might work out well with the box office. Nagarjuna's 'Annamayya', 'Sriramadasu' etc. are the best examples of this notion. Since, 'Bhaktha Kannappa' has been a well made film with all mass elements, romance, devotion and heart touching climax, definitely the remake of this project will be a safe bet at the box office. Above all, Prabhas's physique well suits to play the role of 'Kannappa'.
