Chiru Concerned Over Power Price Hike

The Union Minister for Tourism, Dr.Chiranjeevi expressed his deep concern over the abnormal electricity price hike in Andhra Pradesh. He wrote a letter to the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and the in-charge of AP state affairs, Mr.Gulam Nabi Azad about the price hike.  He felt that wide range of consultations should have been made within the party. Also, he mentioned in the letter that in the current scenario, power  price hike should not have been done. He requested the minister not to impose any financial burden on the people. Meanwhile, it is a known thing that the government has announced power price tariffs started with ranges from Rs.1.45 to Rs. 7.25 based on different slabs of power consumption.
