Chiru Congratulates Satyanarayana

The Union Minister of State for Tourism, Dr.Chiranjeevi, today went to the house of the senior character actor Kaikala Satyanarayana and congratulated on his achievement for being selected for the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award by the State Government. 

Satyanarayana made debut in films through the movie 'Sipayi Koothuru', which was released in the year, 1959. Since he resembled late NTR in some shades, he was taken as a dupe to NTR in some of the movies. In 'Kanakadurga Pooja Mahima', directed by Vithalacharya, Satyanarayana played the antagonist. Thereafter, he acted in numerous movies as a villain and character  artist. His lord Yama roles in many fantasy movies got eminence. He recently acted in Raviteja's 'Daruvu'.
