Top Director Quits Drinking & Smoking!

South India’s top and most creative director Selva Raghavan of ‘7/G Bridnavan Colony’ and ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ fame has quit both smoking and drinking with the advise of doctors. As per Chennai reports, Selva complained of intense chest pain during the shoot of ‘Varna’ and was rushed to near by hospital. Doctors diagnosed some kind of cardiac problem along with severe gastric infection. Immediately, Selva’s wife Geetanjali arrived.

She wrote on micro-blog, ‘As he lay in bed holding my hand on his way to his angiogram he said: baby they’re right, smoking and alcohol kills you. Big thanks to our loved ones, close friends and well wishers for all their support assistance and prayers through these tough times.’ Now, Doctors advised Selva a month of rest and also quoted drinking and smoking as the reasons for this kind of health situation. Now, Selva quotes ‘there is nothing to worry. I have no words to explain that how good I feel without liquor and cigarettes.’ Well, such an inspiring story.
