He achieved the above feat through his career's best blockbuster movie 'Simhadri'. The movie was released on 9th July, 2003. Ace director SS Rajamouli directed the movie. Bhoomika paired up with NTR in this high voltage action entertainer. The records created by the movie are as follows.
* The movie did a business of around Rs.27 crores which include audio and satellite rights. In AP alone, the movie collected Rs.24.95 crores share(Nizam-6.25cr.,Ceded-6.50cr., Nellore-0.80cr.,Krishna-2.30cr.,Guntur-2.50cr.,Vizag-3.30cr.,EG-1.70cr.,WG-1.60cr.).
* The movie ran 50 days in 162 direct centers, 100 days in 145 direct centers while 175 days in 53 direct centers. Incidentally, all these centers were the all time run records of tollywood then.
* The movie stood as the second biggest hit of tollywood then. Earlier, industry hit movie 'Indra' collected Rs.33 crores which include audio and satellite rights.
* Meanwhile, all the run and collection records of 'Simhadri' were broken by 'Tagore'in the same year later. However, the jubilees record of 53 direct centers has not been beaten by any movie so far and it can't be broken by any movie in future as well.
