Chiru, 1st Hero in India with 1+ Cr.Remuneration

While he was ruling the roost at tollywood box office as a number one hero,  Megastar Chiranjeevi, enjoyed such a wonderful craze and charisma, especially at one particular point of time, he even outsmarted the statuses of bollywood heroes. Meanwhile, one of the popular English magazines of India, 'The Week' , in its 13th September, 1992 edition, reported that Chiranjeevi charged Rs.1.25 crores per a film and which is the highest ever remuneration for any Indian hero then. Thus the magazine quoted the range of Chiranjeevi as 'BIgger Than Bachchan'. 

Soon after the blockbuster successes of 'Gang Leader', 'Rowdy Alludu' and 'Gharana Mogudu', Chiranjeevi gave his nod to do the film 'Aapadbhandhavudu' in Purnodaya Creations, which was owned by Yedida Nageswara Rao. Chiranjeevi was paid the highest remuneration of Rs.1.25 crores by this producer.
