Performances of Star Heroes, 2013

The performances of tollywood's Star Heroes for the year 2013 are as follows.

BALAKRISHNA: As none of the  movies of Balakrishna has been released this year, Balakrishna's fans have disappointed. However, his upcoming movie 'Legend' generated good hype among the trade circles.

NAGARJUNA: Nagarjuna's 'Greeku Veerudu' and 'Bhai' turned duds at the box office. His 'Chandaludu' performance in 'Jagadguru Adi Shankara', was stunning. Yet, the movie couldn't score a much needed success for him.

VENKATESH: Although Venkatesh's mulit-starrer movie 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' scored super hit at the box office, his 'Shadow' and 'Masala' turned out to be disasters. 

PAWAN KALYAN: Having been collected Rs.81+ crores share so far, Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharintiki Dared' proved to be a new industry hit of tollywood. Thus, Pawan Kalyan has become 'Hero of the Year'.

MAHESH BABU: Mahesh Babu's 'SVSC' scored super hit result at the box office. The movie collected a share of Rs.51.93 crores in its full run. The movie collected well in Overseas as well. Since the movie was made with a huge budget of more than Rs.45+ crores, the makers had to be satisfied with less profits.

JR.NTR: Jr.NTR's 'Baadshah' got good profits in Overseas, Karnataka and Nizam. However, the movie could not get break even in other areas of AP. It was because of NTR's star power, the movie collected Rs.45+ crores share. The movie, finally, stood as an above average grosser at the box office. However, his another movie 'Ramayya Vastavayya' scored disaster at the box office. 

RAM CHARAN: Having been made with a budget of Rs.35 crores, Ram Charan's 'Naayak' raked in Rs.52.18 crores in its Telugu version and proved to be the blockbuster.The movie scored well in its Malayalam and Tamil versions as well. However, the movie tasted flop in Overseas area. His another movie 'Thoofan' turned out to be a disaster at the box office.

PRABHAS: In spite of releasing in un-season of February, Prabhas' 'Mirchi' collected Rs.45 crores share. Since the movie was made with a budget of just Rs.30 crores, the movie is considered to be one of the blockbusters of the year.

ALLU ARJUN: 'Iddarammayilatho' recorded good opening collections despite its mixed talk. The movie got profits in Nizam, Karnataka, Kerala and Rest of India. However, in the rest of the areas, the movie could not get break  even. Finally, the movie stood as an above average grosser at the box office.

RAVITEJA:Having faced a series of flops, till last year, Raviteja finallly, delivered a super hit movie this year in the form of 'Balupu'.

NITHIIN: Nithiin once again delivered a decent hit at the box office through his romantic entertainer 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde'.

NAGA CHAITANYA: Naga Chaitanya's 'Tadakha' got the decent hit status at the box office.

RAM: Ram's both the films 'Ongole Giththa' and 'Masala' turned out to be flops at the box office.

GOPICHAND: Adventurous movie 'Sahasam' was well acclaimed by a section people who like cowboy movies. However, the movie stood as a below average grosser at the box office.
