Why This Filmy Craze in Bheemavaram Town?

Bheemavaram is one of the towns located in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Along with much of present-day coastal Andhra Pradesh, Bhimavaram was controlled by the Chola Empire. Under Kulothunga Chola I, Bhimavaram was ruled by his sons who served as viceroys. Various stone inscriptions have been found in the city dating from his reign.

The people of Bheemavaram are fond of watching films. Recently hero Sunil's 'Bheemavaram Bullodu' audio was launched in the town of  Bheemavaram. Prior to this, Young Rebel Star Prabhas' 'Mirchi' was publicized in a greater quarters in this town. 

We can see the emblems of 'Swords and Shield' on the number plates of vehicles in the city. 'Kodi Pandalu'( Cock Fight) during Sankranthi in Bheemavaram town have become widely popular and people from different parts of AP and some NRIs also visit Bheemavaram during Sankranthi to play 'Kodi Pandalu'. Mega producer Allu Aravind's 'Geetha Multiplex' is being run with high standards and luxurious facilities and amenities in the town. It is heard that mega hero Varun Tej's debut film's shoot will be held in the town of Bheemavaram and its surroundings.
