Manchu Lakshmi to Contest on BJP

Though Mohan Babu has openly shown the disinterest to re-enter into politics, looks like energetic daughter Lakshmi Prasanna is eager to continue the political legacy of her father. As per an interview given by Mohan Babu to media men, he hinted on possibilities of Lakshmi to contest in upcoming elections. 

‘Without spending money, you can’t even get back your deposit in elections. Such is the sorry state of political affairs in our country. I do not want to contest or campaign for any political party in coming elections. Political parties are asking for my daughter Lakshmi Prasanna. As she is married, I would suggest her to stay away from any political ambitions. Lakshmi wants to settle down in India and will be back to pursue fresh business interests. Rest she has to decide,’ Mohan Babu said. At the same time, Manchu Lakshmi’s meeting with Narendra Modi last time when Gujarat CM visited Hyderabad has a lot of political implications. Reports say, Lakshmi discussed a lot of subjects on politics with Modi. So, she might contest from BJP.
