MM Pallamraju, who got elected as an MP of Congress Party in general elections, 2009, from Kakinada Lok Sabha Constituency, is currently rendering his services as a union cabinet minister for Human Resource Department. Veteran hero Krishnam Raju, who recently joined BJP, wanted to contest from Kakinada as an MP till some days ago. But now he is likely to change his decision due to the instructions made by BJP high command. And now, Power Star Pawan Kalyan is likely to contest as an MP of Kakinada. Let's know the details of the seven assembly segments of this Lok Sabha constituency. 

* TUNI: Venkata Krishnam Raju Sriraja Vatsavai is holding the responsibilities as an MLA of the Congress party.

* PRATHIPADU: Parvatha Sri Satyanarayana Murthy of TDP is the MLA of this constituency. 

* PITHAPURAM: Vanga Geetha of the Congress party( former PRP's MLA) holds the responsibilities as an MLA.

* Kakinada URBAN: Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy of Congress Party holds the responsibilities as an MLA.

* Kakinada RURAL: Kurasala Kannababu( former PRP's MLA and Chiranjeevi's then PA and close aide even today) is the MLA of this constituency.

* PEDDAPURAM: Pantham Gandhi Mohan( former PRP's MLA) of Congress party is the MLA here. 

* JAGGAMPETA: Thota Narasimham from Congress party is the MLA of this constituency. He is the minister of state's cabinet. 

* Among the seven MLAs mentioned above, five MLAs belong to the same community. Moreover, the MP of Kakinada also belongs the same community.Obviouosly, it is the responsibility of  those new politicians, who wish to contest in this MP constituency, to prove their  chastity of keeping themselves away from showing casteism or else should stay away from contesting from this constituency.
