Two Best Songs on 'Galipatam'

82 years of tollywood history witnessed two great songs which depicted the beauty and the importance of 'Galipatam'( kite). Following are the details of the movies and the lyrics of the songs.

* KULADAIVAM( 1960): This movie had a great melody song 'Pada padave vayyari Galipatamaa..' written by Kosaraju Raghavayya Chowdary. Music of the movie was scored by Master Venu. Ghantasala and Jamuna Rani sang the song. Kabir Das was the director of the movie. Gummadi, Anjali Devi, Krishna Kumari played important roles in this movie. * CHANDRAMUKHI(2005): Rajinikanth, Jyothika and Nayantara starrer 'Chandramukhi' has a superb song on 'Galipatam' shot on Nayan and Rajini. The song was written by Suddhala Ashok Teja and the music was scored by Vidya Sagar. Tippu, Rajeswari, Manica Vinayagam and Ganga sang the song.The starting lines of the lyrics are as follows.
