Damage Control for 'Sikandar'!

Tamil star hero Suriya's latest offing 'Sikandar' was released across AP and Telangana states in maximum number of screens on the day of Independence Day. Despite the its lavish budget and reputed cast and technicians, the movie failed to live upto the expectations of the audiences. However, the makers are very quick taking damage control measures on the movie. Reports are that 20 minutes part of the movie has been trimmed which has 9 minutes in the first half and 11 minutes in the second half. Brahmanandam's comedy scenes were also said to have been trimmed by the makers.

Lingusamy has directed this movie while Samantha has done opposite to Suriya. The movie's music was rendered by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Lagadapati Sridhar has produced the movie.
