It was October 5, 1989. One of the top stars of tollywood, 'King Nagarjuna's 'Siva' was released. As usually, fans and other movie lovers thronged to the theaters to watch the movie. They felt they were going to watch one more routine action entertainer. The morning shows of the movie were completed. It was a deep shock to the movie buffs, as they felt they watched something like a magic show instead of a movie. Till then, they couldn't know a movie can be directed with that innovative screen play. And rest was the history. A new trend was set and subsequently, budding of thousands of directors. RGV's name reverberated at all India level.
In connection with the completion of 25 years of 'Siva', a documentary on 'Siva' was launched on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Speaking on this occasion, Nagarjuna shared his joyful experiences during the shoot of 'Siva'. He revealed that digitally re-mastered version of 'Siva', is hitting in 100 screens next month. The film's cast and crew attended the event.
