VB Rajendra Prasad Is No More

Renowned director and producer Vb Rajendra Prasad breathed his last on Monday, January 12, 2015 due to severe illness. He was born on November 4, 1932 in Gudiwada of Andhra Pradsh. He was 82. Family hero Jagapathi Babu is his son.

Vb Rajendra Prasad directed and produced many blockbusters under Jagapathi Art Productions. Then industry hit film 'Dasara Bullodu' was directed and produced by Rajendra Prasad. 'Bangaru Babu', 'Manchi Manushulu', 'Pichchimaraju', 'Bangaru Bommalu', 'Bharyabharthala Bandham' were some of the movies directed by Vb Rajendra Prasad. Under Jagapathi banner he produced the great hits like 'Dasara Bullodu','Aradhana', 'Aathmabalam', 'Anthasthulu', 'Adhrushtavanthulu' 'Akkachellellu','Bharyabharthala Bandham', 'Killer' etc. 

Vb Rajendra Prasad's production venture 'Anthasthulu' won national film award for best feature film in 1965. His 'Anthasthulu' and 'Asthiparulu' won Nandi awards. Rajendra Prasad was the recipient of Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2003. He built the famous 'Daiva Sannidhanam' temple in film nagar and offered prayers regularly in the temple. Cinejosh is saddened with the demise of Vb Rajendra Prasad. We pay our heartfelt condolences to the members of his family. May his soul rest in peace.
