Movie Artistes Association's( Maa) elections were held on 29th of this month peacefully. As per the orders of City Civil Court, entire process of polling has been videographed. Had the video CDs been produced to the court today, the results of Maa would have been declared. However, the court received no CDs today when the case came to hearing. As such, the court deferred next hearing on April 7.
According to inside sources, huge conspiracy might have been involved in dragging on the declaration of results. It is also heard that many manipulations were made on the day of polling. Most of the voters had no identity cards. Since all these misdeeds have been recorded, particular group, who was embarrassed wtih the break down of its monopoly, has reportedly worried for producing the CDs to the court and eventually, it resulted in deferment of the case.
