Filmmakers may be delighted with selling audio launch telecast rights to TV News Channels. However, they should be aware of how these News Channels are killing the audio functions and making the viewers losing the essence of watching the audio events. While some key persons of the film go on speaking, all of a sudden, the channels telecast the ads.
Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Lion' audio was telecasted live in a top news channel yesterday. When the director Satyadeva was speaking, suddenly the channel telecasted ads removing his speech. Had the director known this incident, he would have lamented with the act of the TV channel.
WHAT SHOULD PRODUCERS DO TO AVOID THESE FAULTS?: Perhaps, the channels demand more money for giving the complete coverage of the audio events without censoring them. As such, the makers have to oblige the channels. If the producers are not interested to do so, they should collectively take a decision of either banning News Channels from filmy events or pressurizing the channels to give complete coverage of their film events. However, channels like MAA and Gemini give complete coverage of the live shows. You tube and other film related websites also give complete coverage but those who do not have computers cannot watch the websites.
* Naga Chaitanya's 'Dohchay' audio event will be telecasted by a news channel today. Wish that the channel will not irritate the viewers by censoring the audio coverage.
