Why AP NGOs Silent on Special Status?

They agitated for a big time seeking the AP state to be united. They were projected as heroes of AP then. And somehow they were treated like patriots who sacrifice their lives for the sake of their country. Their leaders interviews and statements were given wide range of coverage by the leading newspapers as if those statements are priceless. 

This is all about Ap Ngos and their leader Ashok Babu we are talking about. Ever since the new AP state was formed, all the NGOs alongside Ashok Babu turned out to be dumb. Don't they have any issues to fight for? Certainly not! The union government turned down the special status to AP. Since Ap Ngos have lot of patriotism on AP state, they are expected to raise a revolt and question the state and central governments. However, they keep mum. But why?

Many political analysts believe that there was no sincerity of NGOs agitation on Samaikyandhra.They were actually led by then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu for their political gains. It is also being said that Ashok Babu turned out to be a right hand to CBN now. Since CBN has friendly terms with BJP at the center, Ashok Babu has not been directed anything to do with the ongoing happenings in the AP state. Obviously, Ap Ngos are against to do agitations now. In the meanwhile, caste factors are also said to have played pivotal role behind the agitations made by Ap Ngos then.
