It's Official: Trisha Confirms Break Up

Rumours are doing rounds for the past couple of days that there was a break up of top actress Trisha and Tamil producer Varun Maniian. Both of them got engaged in the month of January amidst their near and dear. The couple also went a tour. Afterwards, rumours were floating around about their break up. 

It was speculated that the members of the family of Varun didn't like Trisha to be continuing her films' career. However, Trisha's mother, Uma Krishnan condemned these rumours and made it clear that it was the decision of the elders of the family. She said Trisha concentrates in her acting profession.

Trisha, however, cleared the airs of everything about her break up. 'Amused by the thousands of speculations doing rounds. Let it rest people. Happy, single and thankful (sic)," posted Trisha in her twitter page. The actress' new movie 'Lion' is slated for release on May 14.
