Devasena Reminds Us 'Joan of Arc'?

Joan of Arc was a great warrior lady born in France in 1412 and fought against England for the freedom of France. Finally she was held captive by the English. Afterwards, she was sentenced to burn on the charges of heresy and witchcraft in 1431. She was canonized in 1920. 

As we know, Anushka essays the role of Devasena in Rajamouli's 'Baahubali'. Reports are that Anushka got well trained in sword fights, horse rides etc. Her latest look of Devasena, who is held captive by the villains reminds us 'Joan of Arc' though there is no relevance of 'Baahubali's story with Joan's. Moreover, 'Baahubali' is a commercial entertainer in fantasy genre. 

Meanwhile, Rajamouli revealed that next look of 'Baahubali' will be 'Kalakeya War Lord', which is unveiled on Monday. The movie has Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah in lead roles. Arka Media Works is the production house.
