What is Russian Link to 'Kanche'?

Mega Prince Varun Tej was acclaimed by the critics with his decent performance in his debut film 'Mukunda'. He wants to be back with flying colours with his upcoming period drama 'Kanche'. The movie is being made with a backdrop of second world war that held between 1939 and 1945. 

A huge set worth of Rs.2.5 crores was already erected and key scenes were shot in that zamindari building. The latest update is that the film unit embarks to leave for Russia to shoot some important scenes of the movie. One might wonder what would the film unit shoot in foreign locales for this period drama. However, as per the story, hero gets educated in Georgia and so are foreign locales required for the movie's shoot. 

Pragya Jaiswal is doing opposite to Varun Tej in the movie. The movie is being directed by Krish. Rajiv Reddy is producing the movie on First Frame Entertainment.
