I'll Start My Career As Fresher

Shriya Saran is the most experienced actress among the present generation heroines. She has been acting since 2001. Her first screen appearance was the Telugu film Ishtam. Its been 14 years since her career got started. Currently she is working on Hindi Project Drishyam in which she is going to share the screen with Ajay Devgan. She used to have multiple films on sets simultaneously, but in recent years she is having only one release in one calendar year.

Shriya is the only heroine of present generation who had 14 long years career as heroine and still continuing with lead roles. Talking about her career, she said, "I'm happy with the characters I'm getting now which are a bit different from regular glamorous roles. Everyone is wondering about my career because they are in a belief that heroine would be heroine for just one decade, and she has to play character roles post 10 years of career. If their belief is true, I would end up my career and start again as a fresher. So that I could continue my career for one more decade."
