History Behind Balayya's 99th Film Logo!

Natasimham Nanadamuri Balakrishna's another powerful action entertainer 'Dictator' was launched in style. Meanwhile, one of the script writers of the film Gopi Mohan posted above pic in his twitter page which generates great interest among the movie buffs.  With 99 number at the center and the pics of two lions on either side of it reminds us the history of old coins of India. 

According to numismatists, above design has been copied from 1835's half anna minted in Mumbai by the East India Company. It remains to be seen whether the title design of 'Dictator' will be of the same design shown above or if the makers go for a change. 

'Dictator' has stunning beauty Anjali in female lead role. Thaman will score the music of the movie. The movie will be directed by Sriwass of 'Lakshyam' fame. The makers are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi.
