Chiru & Rahul's Padyatra Creating Ripples

The AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi's Padyatra, alongside the former union minister and Rajyasabha's MP Megastar Chiranjeevi in drought hit Ananthapur Andhra Pradesh is creating ripples in the state. The duo will set off from a village where Indira Gandhi addressed a meething in 1979 to highlight the issues being faced by the farmers and self help groups. 

Apart from highlighting the farmers woes, the AICC vice president is going to deal with the need for special category status of AP. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi and other Congress leaders are likely to point out the failure of AP's government in fulfilling the election promises. Meanwhile, huge number of mega fans, Congress party's activists and other local people are all set to attend the public meets of the Congress' leaders in the district today. 

On the movies front, Chiranjeevi's 150th movie is going to be launched in the month of August. Maverick director Puri Jaganndh wields the megaphone while Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be producing the movie on his own banner.
