Life Is 'Horrible’ For Young Hero

As a rule, Sekhar Kammula spots only those talented artists who not only have a boy or girl next door looks but also have peculiar features to shine for long in the future career. May it be Kamalini Mukherjee or Varun Sandesh or Tamanna or Nikhil etc, today there is a big bunch of artists from main stream heroes, heroines to supporting character artists Sekhar has blessed a life.

Odd man out in the lot would be only Abhijit, the hero of ‘Life is Beautiful’ who is degrading with each film. After a decent portrayal of main lead in Sekhar Kammula flick, the young guy hasn’t exploited on the moment currently fighting for a chance. ‘Arerey, Ram Leela’ sunk without a trace and yesterday released ‘Mirchi Lanti Kurradu’ is proving to be a further disaster.

Director Jai Nag of ‘Mirchilanti Kurradu’ has not only failed to use the young hero but also defamed him with lack of characterization. Abhijit’s rigid body language and robot like dance movements without a balance are receiving brick bats from critics. All in all, ‘Life is Beautiful’ is now whirled as ‘Life is Horrible’ for Abhijit.
