Can Ramoji Revive Chandamama's Glory?

Ramoji Rao Should Own Chandamama
Ramoji Rao Should Own Chandamama

We, the Indians, are the successors of great culture, heritage and civilization of India. There have been some parameters to indicate and symbolize our substantial traditions, customs and conventions. Many kings and emperors brought distinguished fame for India. Till a couple of years ago, Nagireddy and Chakrapani's 'Chandamama' would contribute in greater quarters reminding our great heritage. Besides stories based on magic, kings, kingdoms, demons etc. were published to entertain the readers to the core. Even thought the magazine was intended for children, it was read by all sections of people consisting all age groups.

Unfortunately, 'Chandamama's publishing was closed down a couple of years ago. The successors of Nagireddy and Chakrapani completely failed in bringing the magazine for the readers maybe because of financial issues or lack of interest.

One of the very big entrepreneurs of Telugu states, Ramoji Rao has great respect on our culture and heritage. His 'Telugu Velugu' magazine is just an indication of his fondness on Telugu language. A magazine named 'Balabharatham' is being published by Ramoji group but the magazine does not suit to the tastes of Ramoji Rao. This media icon is capable of running a magazine like 'Chandamama'. If that is the case, why shouldn't he takeover the magazine? Wish that 68 year old 'Chandamama' or a book with equal standards would be fed and nurtured by the great people like Ramoji Rao.

Meanwhile, Ramoji's ETV is celebrating 20th Anniversary today. Mega brothers attended as the chief guests of this memorable and spectacular event.
