As a producer, Nithin should have been occupied with every second of his time for the betterment of ‘Akhil’ output and in parallel managing the promotions for this high budget flick on which he invested surplus money. Instead, he took some time to promote ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ for the sake of his close association with Gautham Vasudev Menon and production team associated.
However, the adverse result of ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ might now show a negative impact on Nithin’s career as a producer, said a cinema critic yesterday after watching film. Unfortunately, Nithin’s selection of story for this movie was right but there were hurdles placed in narration and financial adjustment necessitated for releasing movie on time. People considered ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ as a definite stale product and showed less interest towards the film.
Well planned promotions have lifted the excitement to some level which wasn’t sufficient to tilt the balance. Best suggestion for Nithin is to better forget ‘CBK’ for a while and concentrate more on ‘Akhil.’ All in all, the timing was wrong for ‘CBK’ release.
