A total of 5 entries from Tollywood were sent for IFFI screening but no movie has been picked by the jury. On the other hand, a total of 26 films have been selected by the committee to be screened at film festival. Most of the movies were chosen from Bengali, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Rejection of 'Baahubali' and 'Srimanthudu' left a big shocker to Tollywoof film fraternity.

It is being said that the movies selected for IFFI screening have fulfilled the prescribed norms. Praveen Saththaru, one of the jury members has made it clear that 'Baahubali' has not meet the norms prescribed by the committee.
