Who Will Sacrifice For Vishal?

As the heat around Sankranti releases is slowly getting down, it’s time Telugu movie lovers would start diverting their eyes towards new arrivals. This week, we have only one movie ‘Kathakali’ getting into theaters. Starring Vishal, Catherine Tresa in main leads, directed by Pandiraj, the original Tamil movie of same title was released in Tamil Nadu for Pongal and bagged positive reviews.

However, four big films ‘Nannaku Prematho, Dictator, Express Raja, Soggade Chinni Nayana’ have still glued to maximum screens catering to the demands of public. Problem lies in, who will sacrifice their theaters for Vishal ‘Kathakali.’ In fact, NPT and ‘Dictator’ being made on very high budgets, a run of two weeks can only make buyers to reach a safe breakeven mark. ‘Express Raja, Soggade Chinni Nayana’ have garnered positive response and many screens are recording housefuls. So, there’s no way one can afford to replace them.

As ‘Kathakali’ release date is locked for 22nd that is coming Friday, it would be really exciting to see how many opening screens this film would get? Vishal is an influential hero in Telugu market, so he might demand a big number from distributors atleast to retain his following in AP, TS.
