Settlers Super Shock to TDP?

GHMC civic body polls ended this evening with a few brawls occurred here and there. As per the reports, 45% of voting was recorded. On the other hand, exit poll results were revealed by various media houses. 

And the results are quite in favour of the TRS party. TRS is likely to win 80 wards indicating a sweep in elections. MIM will be scoring around 35 wards while TDP maybe just confined to 28 wards. Congress may stand at fouth place with single digit number of wards.

As huge percentage of Andhra Settlers are living in Hyderabad, their vote share turned out to be the deciding factor of the elections. TDP was thought to avail the advantage of getting Settlers votes. TDP's forces,under Nara Lokesh's leadership, organized election campaigns in an extensive manner. However, exit poll results betoken that all the efforts of the TDP go in vain. Since AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is facing anti incumbency breaking many of his election promises, Settlers seem to have lost the faith on the TDP and so have cast their vote to the TRS. Whatsoever, these are just assumptions based on exit poll results. Let's wait for the counting day which falls on February 5.
