The 2-day festivities of Lepakshi were ended yesterday. Huge turn out from Ananthapur and nearby districts of AP and Karnataka made the event a success. The two day festivities have also been marked with AP's culture, traditions and heritage with various singing and dancing programs performed by skilled artists.

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna embellished the chair as a president of the function. He, himself, performed the mono action of Sri Krishnadevarayalu. Senior artists like Anjali, Jamuna, Sharadha, Sumalatha, Mohan Babu and Ambareesh graced the event and were felicitated. A couple of TDP's MLAs apart from BJP's leader Venkaiah Naidu attended the event.

However, many people who turned up the event felt if the legendary and crazy heroes of Tollywood were invited, the event could have been more successful. May it be because of lack of the star power, electronic, print and web media media haven't given wider coverage of the utsavalu. Somehow, the event appeared as a private affair with some overboard of flattery made by the guests on some late and legendary personaliteis. Let's wish no such flaws will be repeated for next year's 'Lepakshi Utsavalu'.
