Entry of Sudheer Babu (pretty much identified with Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law tag) into Bollywood was an exciting event for Telugu cinema lovers because rarely do we see Telugu talents really shining in Mumbai circles. The teaser stuff introducing Raghav from ‘Baaghi’ was definitely adrenaline pumping because Sudheer Babu chiseled his body to match the characteristic shades needed for a dreadful villain.
Finally, ‘Baaghi’ released yesterday all over the world opened to mixed talk. Especially, reviewers found it tough to rate and the reception from audience is also weak. While Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor tried to emulate Prabhas and Trisha in this flick largely inspired from Telugu super hit ‘Varsham’ but Sudheer Babu is out rightly wasted because there was no sensibility in his role as what we see in the original with Gopichand.
Having proved to an extent as an artist with caliber, Sudheer Babu should forget Bollywood dreams and concentrate at Telugu films. Definitely, ‘Baaghi’ was an opportunity gone wasted but that’s how fate has something more to offer. Hope, Sudheer signs good Telugu subjects very soon.
