US Shock: Brahmotsavam Fails to Cross SGS Premieres

It is a known fact that Prince Mahesh has great fan following among the NRIs in the US. His flop films also would collect record shares in the territory. Now that his latest offing 'Brahmotsavam' has been made as a family entertainer, US audience were expected to make the movie a huge hit. It was also speculated the movie would fetch $1M collections through its premiere shows itself. 

However, 'Brahmotsavam' has managed to collect $556K from 147 locations through its premiere shows in the US. Earlier, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' collected $616K through its premiere shows in the territory and stood at next to 'Baahubali'. 'Brahmotsavam' now settles down at 3rd position next to 'Baahubali' and 'SGS'. 

'Brahmotsavam' has been directed by Srikanth Addala. Kajal, Samantha and Pranitha have romanced with Mahesh in the film. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music of the movie. Potluri Vara Prasad has produced the movie on PVP Cinema.
