Satakarni Genre Changed?

It seems Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' would be filled with full of action sequences in it. An expensive action sequence was shot on Balakrishna, other lead actors and hundreds of junior artists in Morocco during the first schedule of the film. 

Later, team 'Satakarni' shot a different war sequence in Ramoji Film City that had a huge ship set specially installed for the film. And now, the film unit will leave for Georgia in the first week of July to shoot another action sequence. The movie, now, can be termed more of an action entertainer in a different format rather a historical entertainer.

Shriya will be seen as princess in the film. Veteran Bollywood top heroine Hema Malini sports Balakrishna's mother role. The movie's music is being provided by Devi Sri Prasad. Krish is directing this movie on his own banner First Frame Entertainment. Sankranthi, 2017 is the date locked by the production team as a date of release of the film.
