Leading English daily 'Times of India's article on TDP's corruption for Krishna Pushkaralu is embarrassing the people of AP. According to the newspaper's report, the TDP is intentionally delaying bidding for tenders for the works to be done in connection with pushkaralu.
The MPs and MLAs are allegedly delaying tenders to sanction the pushkara funds to their near and dear through nominations basis so that they would get their percentage from the funds allotted by the government.
It is being said that the government has allocated Rs.1080 crores of funds for Krishna Pushkaralu. However, due to the delay in inviting tenders, the budget may get doubled so that more corruption is done. As many as 3 ministers, 6 MLAs and an MP have been indulged in Krishna Pushkaralu scam, as per the report of the 'Times of India'.
