How Bichagadu Going Bollywood?

‘Bichagadu’ released as a small film and done massive business of nearly Rs. 20 Crores in Telugu states is now finding its way to Bollywood. As per the reports from Kollywood sources, hero and producer Vijay Anthony has inked a deal with Fox Star Studios to remake ‘Bichagadu’ in Hindi very soon. None other than ‘Bichagadu’ director Sasi will be helming the Hindi version too. Meanwhile, Vijay Anthony’s next film ‘Saithan’ coming as ‘Bethaludu’ is also planned for a massive release in Telugu states.    

‘Pichaikkaran,’ the original Tamil version of ‘Bichagadu’ raked only average revenues in Tamil Nadu but Telugu audience connected too much with the mother sentiment and drama in the film which is again the main reason why Bollywood is also interested.

Of late, North Indian audience are welcoming experimental subjects with high on drama, sentimental quotients. For example, ‘Bajranji Bhaijaan’ fared awesome wherein hero Salman Khan worked well on emotions. Let us see, how far Vijay Anthony’s Hindi debut will be successful?
