Samanta Finds Fault With Our Stories!

If you are in a notion that Samanta isn’t signing films just for the reason of getting married to Naga Chaitanya and entering into Akkineni family. Then you might be wrong. Samantha has another reason to justify her rejecting producers and directors calls.  

‘Realizing just how hard it is to get a meaningful role for a heroine in the South. I haven't signed as many films as I would like too only and only because there are no good roles. As disheartening as it is to say,’ Samanta mentioned on her Twitter page.

Definitely, one has to agree with Sam’s statement because heroines in this part of India are merely meant for glamour show in present commercial cinema. Even writers aren’t showing women with respect. Amidst such degrading situations present in the market, Samanta is doing a good thing by sitting idle rather than rehashing the same glamour based heroine characters. Let us see, how far her hunt for a strong women centric script gets prolonged?
