India Wins Kabaddi World Cup 2016

It was a glittering moment when India made a tremendous comeback as they beat Iran by 38-29 and bagged Kabaddi World Cup 2016. India took on Iran in the world cup's final held in Ahmerabad today.

In the beginning, it appeared it would be a cake walk for India getting the clear lead on Iran. Sandeep Narwal's performance in the beginning was awe-inspiring and he made India getting an initial lead of 2-0. However, Iran's defense did not allow India leading the first half. Eventually, Iran were ahead of India with 18-13 at the end of the first half. 

India, however, had a miraculous comeback in the second half. Ajay Thakur, the hero of the game, shocking Iran bagging 12 points. Indians, finally, had a last laugh with the amazing victory. With this feat, India has completed a successful hattrick winning three world cups in a row. Every Indian gets exhilarated with the triumphant victory of Kabaddi team. Kabaddi has now turned out to be a global game. For the past two weeks, there have been many exciting moments for the lovers of the game and finally, their wishes were fulfilled with India winning the prestigious cup.
