Muhammad Bin Tughluq was one of the scholastic rulers of India, who had assumed the charges as the Sultan of Delhi between 1324 and 1351.  He was a scholar of logic, Philosophy, Mathematics, Astronomy, Physical sciences and Calligraphy. Having been inspired by his qualities the PM of India and the CM of AP appeared to have adopted two important decisions taken by Tughluq then.

Although Delhi had got all facilities and infrastructure to be the capital, Tughluq chose the fertile land Daulatabad as his capital. Similarly, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu opted for three crop yielding wetland Amaravati as the capital of AP.

Tughluq replaced the gold and silver coins with copper and brass coins then. As such, demonetization came into the force then. Similarly, the BJP government has adopted this idea of changing the currency. Eventually, new denominations of Rs.500 and Rs.2000 notes replaced the old currency notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000. Wonder what, Tughluq happens to be the craziest name which is frequently heard even after 7 centuries of his existence.
