Irony: Shivaji Statue Rs.3600 Cr., ATM Deaths for Rs.2000

Here is a bitter truth which couldn't get digested by people of India. As we know, aged people are dying at ATMs across India just for the sake of a Rs.2000 note. Panic created at every ATM at the moment due to these deaths. Moreover, life has become miserable for the comman man of India due to demonetization of high currency notes. 

Ironically, the union government's strange acts at this juncture are irritating the people. The BJP led Maharashtra state government has planned to build Chhatrapathi Shivaji Memorial soon. The PM Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of this huge project today. 

The state BJP government has decided to invest Rs.3600 crores on this mega project. This factor irked everyone. The union government has made sure all sorts of permissions granted for this proposed project. Instead of encouraging BJP led state governments with this extravagance being taken up unnecessary projects, the union and state governments should think seriously about how the demonetization woes are checked.
