PAWAN: Teasers Amaze, Results Abhor

This is not the first time Pawan Kalyan heighten the excitement of Fans by releasing amazing teasers and trailers of his films but fall flat later at Box Office when his full length movies stand no way comparison with promotional video glimpses. This time too, Power Star generated a Tsunami on digital media as ‘Katama Rayudu’ teaser broke every record on Internet (as far as Telugu cinema is considered).

‘Katama Rayudu’ teaser got 3.7 million views in just 24 hours and also holds the record of fastest 1 million views in Tollywood history.  In less than 6 hours, it also surpassed 2 million views mark with more than 1.5 Lakhs likes just next to Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali.’

Apparently, the teaser has surely built enormous hype and all those negative vibes circulating in media and Fans circles on the film have been wiped off. With respect to content in ‘Katama Rayudu’ and majority of Telugu audience having watched the Tamil to Telugu dubbed version ‘Veerudokkade’ starring Ajith, biggest challenge for ‘Katama Rayudu’ will be to offer something new and refreshing for Telugu viewers instead of following a scene to scene - makki to makki copying. 

Nevertheless, ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ teaser also got an astounding response but the final Box Office result shamed everyone.
