It seems King Nagarjuna hasn't hit bulls eye with two of his movies which had their titles given on the names of lord Balaji. Long ago, Nagarjuna enacted a movie titled 'Govinda Govinda' directed by Ram Gopal Varma. As the film had controversial elements in it, the film had finally bombed at the box office.
And recently Nagarjuna's devotional entertainer 'Om Namo Venkatesaya' hit the screens. This movie too, didn't live upto the expectations. It was reckoned that the film't title should have been confirmed as 'Hathiram Baba', the character sported by Nagarjuna.
Since numerous Bhakthi channels are being watched by the people, they mightn't have felt essence in Nagarjuna's 'ONV'. "Had the movie been made with more commercial elements as in 'Annamayya' and 'Sri Ramadasu', it could have got more mileage at the ticket window," opined a movie goer. The movie was directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Pragya Jaiswal and Anushka were seen in crucial roles.
