Within a gap of just two days another miracle in Indian film history was recorded. It is known thing that Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali 2' surpassed the total gross of Rs.1500 crores two days ago.
And today, another wonder in Indian film history is getting registered. Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' which was released 15 days ago in China, crossed $100M and took collections tally to Rs.649.03 crores by Saturday. And the overall collections leapfrogged to Rs.1422 crores. Trends suggest that the film will be breaching Rs.1500 crores gross mark today. Since the film is performing tremendously well in weekends, there may not be stopping of film at China box office for two more weekends.
'Dangal' was made with a comfortable budget of Rs.70 crores. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari in Aamir Khan's own production. Aamir Khan is working for 'Secret Superstar' and 'Thugs of Hindustan' at the moment.
