Sridevi Hits Back at Rajamouli's Lies!

It is a known news that ace director Rajamouli made derogatory comments on all time legendary actress Sridevi about her turning down the offer of Shivagami role in Baahubali. Apart from Rajamouli, the channel's head too tried to ridicule Sridevi's decision in the interview. 

It was envisaged that Sridevi would retort to Rajamouli right away after the interview was aired. Sridevi, however, has maintained stoic silence on the issue. Finally, she hit back at the director during her promotional interviews of Mom. 

"Initially, I didn't believe that Rajamouli had made those comments. Later, a video link consisting Rajamouli's comments was sent by someone and I was shocked to watch those comments. 

"He said I had demanded Rs.8 crores and a hotel with all rooms booked for me. Neither could I have done 300 films nor had I got survived in industry with such long period of 50 years with such demands. I worked with Krishna garu for 40 films and with K Raghavendra Rao garu for 24 films. If I had put those demands, they mightn't have preferred me repeatedly in their films.Even if the producers had told these lies to the director, he shouldn't have disclosed them in public platform. Finally, Rajamouli shouldn't have made such allegations on an artist without knowing anything about her," said Sridevi in Sakshi newspaper's interview today.
