This Is How DJ Turns Bigger Than Tubelight

South Cinema laughs at Bollywood again. Until a couple of years ago, Bollywood filmmakers had a blind eye on the records set by South films. But then, the trend has got changed recently. Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 stood as an eye opener for Bollywood folks.

And now, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's regional cinema Dj Duvvada Jagannadham shocked the Bollywood film Tubelight starred by Salman Khan. DJ collected $526,355 (3.39 crores) on the first day of its release in US while Tubelight collected 280,445 (1.3 crores). In fact, Tubelight was released in much bigger number of 344 locations in US while DJ's release was confined to 160 locations. 

Since Tubelight turned out to be a disaster, DJ might get better mileage at US box office. The movie is likely to breach $1M this weekend. In the meanwhile, a grand success meet of DJ was planned by the makers on Monday at JRC Convention, Hyderabad.
