Venkatesh Rejected, Nagarjuna Accepted

For every Tamil hit film, there will be either a dubbed version or remake in Telugu. Speculations are increasing in Tollywood about recent Tamil hit Vikram Veda remake on cards. Question is… who will be the hero…Victory Venkatesh or King Nagarjuna?

Yes, inner film sources say that both of them are vying to be a part of this remake. It is known that Kollywood is not having a decent hit in the last few years though everyone is waiting for Thala Ajith's Vivegam releasing today. In fact, Tamil cinema tasted only one hit and that is Vikram Veda. So, the remake gained prominence immediately. 

In the original, Madhavan played a sincere encounter specialist while Vijay Sethupati is the gangster. The film released without any expectations turned out to be a silent hit directed by husband-wife duo Pushkar and Gayatri. 

Sometime back producer Sasikanth revealed that they are planning for a Telugu remake and approached Venkatesh, Rana to reprise Madhavan and Vijay Sethupati. Freshly, inside talk is that Sasikanth is now contacting Nagarjuna for gangster role and Madhavan to reprise the same police officer. As the story is novel, Nagarjuna surely will accept it.
